To add a new text object.
To delete the currently selected text.
To copy the currently selected text with all its effect, click action and font settings
To delete all text in your project.
To move the currently selected text up.
To move the currently selected text down.
Text settings
To adjust the selected text font settings such as Font name, size, bold, italic, underline, alignment, color, shadow and transparency.
This feature is very handy when you have quite a number of overlapping text and you want to concentrate working on one particular text. Using this tool you can then disable all other text so you can easily concentrate on the one you want.
Use the large textbox to change the text content.
Transition
Show type To set the time when this text will start showing. There are three different timing mode. 1. Show after x second from the start The text will show x second after the start of the movie. 2. Show after x second from previous text The text will show x second after the end of previous text. This is very handy to make one text appear and disappear one after another. If you wish to make the text appear a few second after the previous text disappear, you can simply type in the delay. 3. Show at the same time as previous text The text will show x second after the start of previous text. This is very handy to make more than one text appear at the same time. If you wish to make the text appear a few second after the previous text appear, you can simply type in the delay.
Effect To choose the show effect There are two group of text effects. The first group animates the text as a whole while the second animates the text per character. The second group has name starts with Text. When selecting the second effect group, you will have an additional button Show/Hide effect settings to bring up a text effect settings. You can then adjust the effect settings such as scale, rotation, offset, color, alpha, etc. Go here for more information.
Duration The show effect duration When you select the second effect group (which animates text per character), you will not be able to set the duration. The duration will be automatically calculated from the effect parameters. Go here for more information.
Fully visible after ... This tells you when the text will be fully visible (after the show effect if there is any). This information is useful to synchronize several text objects.
Freeze/Exit after combo To select whether you want the text to freeze (show forever) or disappear/exit after a few second
When you select Exit after, you will have additional controls below.
Exit after To set how long the text will show before it starts disappearing.

Click Action
To set an action to be performed when the text is clicked.
There are 2 selectable actions.
Open website To open a specific website.
Email to To open an email client.
Position
This controls are provided as an alternative to direct manipulation at preview window to modify the text position, area width and rotation.
Note that, adjusting Text width does not directly change the text size but rather it adjust the textbox area.
