Q: Why does the effect rotate/scale my text not exactly at the center of the text?

When you select the rotate/scale mode to From Center of Text, the center of the rotation and scale for text effect is the center of the text area (an area represented by a blue rectangle when you select the text object). It is possible that your text does not fill the entire text area so it appears that the rotation/scale is not centered to the actual text center. You can simply fix this by resizing the text area to be as smallest possible but still fit the amount of text you have entered.
